HELP! Error import old workflow!

Hello Knime User!

I have a problem and I hope you can help me!

1 year ago I made a workflow on knime on my school laptop. I try to import this workflow on my home laptop, but this doesn’t work. I get the ERROR in the Knime Console:
WARN WorkflowEditorDropTargetListener No node factory is registered for handling “/ C: / Program% 20Files / KNIME …”

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I only have this file and no longer have my old school laptop!

It would be great if someone knew a solution!

Hi @Sean,

can you please post the full error message so that we can better understand what is going on?

best,
Gabriel

Thank you for your quick response Gabriel.

I only get this error in the Knime Console:
WARN WorkflowEditorDropTargetListener No node factory is registered for handling “/C:/Program%20Files/KNIME/projects/workflow.knime”

I am trying to import the workflow but I cannot find the file. When I create a new workflow and drag the file in, I get the error above.

Could it be that the file is no longer usable? Or do I have to change the type of file?

Thanks

Hi Sean,

you need to import the workflow into your workspace, dropping it onto a new workflow does not work. Take a look at the documentation, it explains how to do it:
