Confused. KNIME bills itself as an open ecosystem. I, student, would like to deploy a created machine learning app on the Web. The documentation is not clear. KNIME server is mentioned on other sites but not here.

Hey there,
KNIME is in general Open Source (e.g. Desktop version, KNIME Hub with your account).
The features you are referencing to are part of the Enterprise solutions which I’m afraid come at a cost:
Depending on your use case the Team plan might be most affordable.
That said you can still upload your workflows on the KNIME Hub and share them for free.
Hi,
How about deploying and executing the exercises of self-paced courses? Does one need to pay for Business Hub? Because it is unclear how to use the KNIME Education Hub for deployment and execution.
I think if you are doing any of the L3 courses there are instructions on how you can connect to the KNIME Hub Instance to deploy the WFs that are part of the hands-on exercises:
I don’t think that this will allow you to run anything else in production though, but you may have to review the terms in detail to get an exact answer.
Hi everyone!
I will second what @MartinDDDD already posted: If you are interested in learning about the capabilities of KNIME Business Hub and how to use it for deployment, our L3 self-paced courses are the recommended option. Once you have signed up, you can request access to a dedicated Business Hub instance for learning purposes.
Best regards,
Stefan
