How to lock a component

Hi there.

I was wondering if it is possible to lock a component.

I want to prevent the option to open or expand it.

In other words, when I share a component to a server or hub, I want users to be able to use it, but not open or expand it.

Please let me know if this is possible.

I don’t think this is possible. Only option I could think of is creating a complete new Node based on that component

I’m going to continue this question because I found similar question in forum.
Here is the link to that question.

Also, I would like to lock the component in the business hub version.
This means that

  1. Other users can’t open that component so they can’t see what nodes that make up that component.
  2. Other users can’t copy and paste the nodes in the component.
  3. Other users can’t open the configuration of the nodes in the component.

I’d appreciate it if someone tell me whether it is possible :slight_smile:
