How to make Custom mongoDB connector work seamlessly with KNIME mongoDB reader.

I would like to know the key point to make the custom node like mongoDB Connector (source) to work seamlessly with the KNIME reader node. Can anybody lighten me on this?

I try to create custom node that has functionlity the same as KNIME MongoDBConnector. And expect my custom node work seamlessly with KNIME MongoDB reader. Can you please suggest on proper neccessary steps to code. eg. In confiure method/execute method , I dont know how to send connectionReference to the MongoDB Reader.
