How to stop executor (Knime Server 4.11.3)

Hi all,

We’re migrating to Knime Server 4.11.3. In this version, we need to seperatedly launch the executor after the knime server (with the start-executor.sh script)

However, I do not find the script to stop it ? How do we stop the executor in fact ? We need to kill the executor process ?

Hi @tttpham,

yes you can kill the process, it will still shutdown the executor gracefully. However, general recommendation is to not use the scripts to start/stop server and executor, but configure services for them: https://docs.knime.com/2020-12/server_installation_guide/index.html#autostart_knime_server
