I’m currently on KNIME 5.0.1. I gather from the website that the latest version is 5.1.0
However when I do File → Update KNIME… it tells me that no updates were found.
And when I do Help → Install New Software it’s not clear if 5.1.0 is in the list.
So how do I update without losing my settings? Thanks
Hi @J_Knime_Work,
due to larger changes under the hood, a direct update to KNIME 5.1 is not possible. You can download the latest version manually from Downloads | KNIME.
When starting the new version, you can select your previous workspace, which will contain your previous workflows and configurations.
Side note: It also makes sense to backup your workspace once in a while, just like any data on your machine.
