How to use flow variables with component configuration?

Hi,

I have a fairly simple setup: A component with a configuration node.

In some cases, I want to just configure the component using the dialog. That works fine.

However in other cases I want to pass a flow variable as the configuration.
But the option to set the flow variable is greyed out.

Can this be done somehow?

Hi @brni , I think the most likely reason is that you do not have an Integer flow variable created that can be used to configure the component:

Ah, you’re right. My flow variables simply had the wrong types . Thanks!
