How to Use SSH Command Executor node?

Hello,

I am trying SSH Command Executor node added in KNIME 5.4.0, but there are parts of its usage that I don’t fully understand. Could you please provide some advice?

When I check the ‘Use input file or folder’ option under ‘Input’, I will be able to select a file or folder. After that, the ‘ssh’ tab that appears will display the folder list of the SSH server I’m connected to.

Next, I look at the ‘Local File System’ tab, the option ‘Remove the file system input port in…’ is displayed. What should I do?

Thanks for bringing this up. And sorry for the confusion. Just select the file in the SSH tab and ignore the other tabs.

In fact, it is unintended that the tabs to the right of the SSH tab are even shown. We intend to remove them and improve other aspects of file selection in the SSH Command Executor node as well (internal ticket number AP-23676 for reference).
