KNIME 4.7.7 was installed in my laptop recently and it shows following message when I try to install the extensions:
When I click 'Yes’it throwing following errors:
Could not query updates site for missing extensions
Unable to read repository at https://update.knime.com/partner/4.7/content.xml.
Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty

The message indicates that you currently lack the necessary write permissions to the installation directory, thus preventing you from installing extensions. To resolve this, you’ll need to launch KNIME using the user account that owns the directory. By doing so, you should be able to successfully install extensions without encountering this issue.
