Integrationg with KNIME

hello,

im new at Knime , i have an application Java EE and i want to integrate it with a knime after some research i realized tthat KNIME server support WebServices API and that's cool ! but .. the licence is too expensive for me ! i want to know if there is any other solution

can i develop a node to communicate with my Java EE plateform using RMI..

You can use the Generic Web Service node to talk to a SOAP service or the Rest nodes to talk to a RESTFul service.

You can also make your own node that an use Java 8 (in KNIME 3) functionality to develop your own RMI based node.
