Issues with Google BigQuery nodes installation

Hi, I want to use the KNIME Google BigQuery nodes, but they are not showing up in the node repository.
It says they are already installed, so I go to KNIME/About and find Google BigQuery and uninstall the nodes, restart KNIME, then go and reinstall the Google BigQuery nodes, restart again, and they are still not showing up in the node repository.
If I load a workflow from a colleague with the Google BigQuery Connector node present, it is in a red hashed image, and it complains the nodes are not installed, launches a window to install them (v5.3), and then does not continue further, because the error says they are already installed.
I am on KNIME 5.3, on a MacBook (14.5 MacOS) using Apple Silicon.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Simon.

Sigh. I thought this had disappeared, but sounds like the issue below:

@mlauber71 's solution is to run the x86 version and live with the slow down.

Thanks for this. I will try this out, it sounds like the same problem.
A shame a solution for the correct install has not been found for this.

Simon.

I do notice when I uninstall and go to reinstall these nodes, I get this warning message during the installation which may be a clue to the problem;

ERROR PythonGatewayTracker Found running Python processes. Aborting them to allow installation process. If this leads to failures in node execution, please restart those nodes once the installation has finished

Well after 4 separate installs now of KNIME for Apple Silicon, each time different key nodes will not install each time (Google Big Query, RDKit, Vernalis) all of which are ones I really need.
Time to admit defeat and accept KNIME for Apple Silicon is faulty and will need to take the plunge with KNIME for Intel and accept the performance drop :frowning:
