Haystack Data Solutions (https://haystackdata.com) is helping transform how food & ag companies harvest data for a better future. We are a fast-growing, minority-owned analytics agency looking for creative and intelligent freelance developers to join our team.
We are seeking a part-time, remote KNIME developer for a long-term (1+ years) contract.
This is a great opportunity for work-from-home developers who need flexibility with their work schedule. Must be able to work at least 15 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Pull data from client databases using SQL scripts or KNIME.
- Connect KNIME to source systems & files.
- Work with Project Manager and client to understand requirements.
- Build intuitive workflows and reports.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Independently solve complex technical problems.
Requirements
- Experience developing moderately complex workflows in KNIME.
- Familiar with strategies for acquiring data from a variety of data sources.
- Experience creating and troubleshooting SQL queries.
- Familiar with data modeling, data preparation, and data visualization best practices to present professional and understandable reports.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Experience with R or Python.
- Experience with Azure cloud technology stacks.
