I understand there are shortcuts when the two tables are small, or some other workarounds were suggested. However, it is a good idea to have this feature added to the Joiner or Concatenate nodes in Knime Analytics.
Profile - ipazin - KNIME Community Forum has suggested there is already a ticket (Internal reference: AP-10692) but I could not find it to give it a thumbs up (+1).

I have two tables table_a and table_b the first table has a time span data in stored as two columns start_date and end_date the second table has time point data. I want to join those table in such a way that only those rows match where the time point lies within the time span.
