Hi, I’m not sure if I got the title right there re ‘dependencies’ but here is my challenge:
I have three sets of data, ignoring some columns the potential joining ones look like this:
Enquiries:
first_name | surname | email
Bookings:
contact1_surname | contact1_firstname | contact2_surname | contact2_firstname | contact3_surname | contact3_firstname | email
Team Sheet:
Lead Contact Last Name | Lead Contact First Name | Secondary Contact Last Name | Secondary Contact First Name
So, I have joined those first two sets with the email… but now I’m struggling to join the output of those to the third set.
Any of the surnames will map to any of the last names, so I need to find a way to do something like:
contact1_surname = Lead Contact Last Name
OR
contact1_surname = Secondary Contact Last Name
OR
contact2_surname = Lead Contact Last Name
OR
contact2_surname = Secondary Contact Last Name
OR
contact3_surname = Lead Contact Last Name
OR
contact3_surname = Secondary Contact Last Name
And I can do that with ‘Any’ in the joiner, however - when I then bring in the first names I hit a problem, because the first names will need to do the same thing as the last names above, but then there’s an AND, as the first names and surnames/last names belong together ![]()
I’m even confusing myself in writing this tbh.
