Hi Team,

Is there a way to add nice descriptions to the Data apps? I would like to add external references like how we could add in workflow descriptions.

Hi Aparna,

Could you provide us a screen shot of where you would want that description to show up? We have the capability to provide a description to a version of a workflow on HUB:

If this is not what you intended, please provide us a bit more detail on where you want the description to show and perhaps we can help out.

Hi Zack,

I am looking for description in the apps portal, say here:

I can add a text description while configuring, that would appear right below the data app name. However, I cannot add external references or hyperlinks like we could do in workflows. Use case here is to expose only the data app to the users and not the workflow. So it would be beneficial to get the data app description to allow hyperlinks.

Hi there!
for this you need to edit your deployment.
Go to the workflow from which you created the deployment.
Edit the deployment and change the description. The categories are the tabs you are seeing, and you can also change the Name of the deployment on top.

Hi Iris, thanks for your response, my question was on how to add a hyperlink or external reference in there? I don’t think it supports links yet, it is just plain text.
