KNIME 3.1.2 node repository loading issues at startup - Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Hi,

I am trying to start KNIME in the new Ubuntu system. KNIME hangs up during loading of the nodes in the nodes reporsitory after startup... which means I am unable to work on KNIME.

How do I start with seeing the logs etc.
