@Tugrul , @migueldevezas so you by any chance use Apple Silicon? There is a problem with some data formats and already a ticket that might be related:

Big Data File Format extension not available for M1 MacBook Pro

There currently seem to be a problem with Apple Silicon and Big Data formats in the native KNIME 4.7. There is a ticket that might also cover your case: AP-19894. The Intel version thru Rosetta just works fine but a bit slower.
