Dear all,
i apologize for the request, but i suppose that some other may faced on the same scenario and it could be useful a workaround.
I’m working behind network security devices and i can’t use online knime extension repository.
In the past i used to download a big zip from something like that Extensions and Integrations Guide , but now i can’t find any suitable.
It’s still available the “zip-way” for the current version?
Where i can find it?
you can find the ZIP updated files (for the nodes where they are available) via NodePit - search for the node you want to install (e.g. Column Expressions), and follow the link in the box on the right saying …:
A zipped version of the software site can be downloaded here.
In case you need the ZIP for an older KNIME version, you can use the version toggle in the top bar - it dates back until 3.6
if your working environment has limited internet access or you receive an error message “Proxy Authentication Required” when connecting to a remote update site (provided by a URL), you can install extensions from a local zip file.
But i don’t know if it will works because it refers to 4.xx
In any case a will find a work around as you suggested.
