Hey @nxfxcom
Thanks for reaching out. If you’re trying to log in using Interactive mode as the Authentication Type without utilizing your own Google Cloud Project, as shown below.
The error you encountered while trying to authenticate using the default KNIME project is most probably due to your company’s Google Workspace configuration.
I found a link for Google Workspace Admins explaining how to allow applications.
Control which third-party & internal apps access Google Workspace data - Google Workspace Admin Help.
So it is something that your company’s IT - Help Desk might help solve.
Another authentication method using interactive mode:
The other way to authenticate via Interactive mode is using your own Google Cloud Project. To do so, you click on the “Show advanced settings” button in the Google Authenticator node.
And provide your own Client ID from your Google Cloud Platform project
Below a tutorial explaining how to create your own Google Client ID for authentication :
It’s important to note that if you’re running the workflow on your local KNIME Analytics Platform, you must create a Desktop Client ID. On the other hand, if you’re running the workflow on the Hub, you’ll need to provide a Web Application Client ID.
Once you have downloaded the JSON, put the path in the Google Authenticator node.
Please let us know if you have any other questions and if you were able to authenticate.
Thank you, I finally got this to work! PRICELESS extensions! Thank you
