KNIME Business Hub "deployment not available"

I want to run a REST API. The workflow (with container input and output nodes) has been successfully uploaded to the team space. But the deploy button is greyed out and I get a tip “deployment not available”. Is there something special that needs to be done to a workflow to enable deployments? Thank you for any help as this is my first use of the hub.

This is a stab in the dark, but maybe you need to create/name a version of the uploaded workflow which you can then deploy.
You can do this via Web UI should the workflow not change, or automatically with the Version Creator node. Details here: Deployments on KNIME Business Hub Guide

Thanks. I didn’t use the Version creator node, but I did create a version (actually a couple of them as I was trying to solve this) in the Hub UI. I still didn’t see anything but a grey Deploy button.

What am I missing or not understanding?

Mysteriously, all of sudden today I got the option to deploy and selected REST API. We’ll see later if it works :slight_smile:

Glad to hear the issue seemingly resolved itself. Still, very peculiar. A further guess would be that no (default) execution context was defined or available to create a deployment, but this may have been something else. Should the issue come up again, please feel free to reach out to our support, so that we can get to the bottom of this.
