My question is related to knim.com. I couldn’t find a category to ask about my problem. Here is my problem.
When trying to sign in with my regular mail address & password, the web site refuses saying my username is not correct. I have been using Knime for ages but, everyday, and do not spend too much time in forums. However, today, i wanted to connect and got that message.
I then have tried to reset my password. Here is the weird part. On the screen to reset password i did hope that there would be a cell to change my username. There is no cell …
My question is : how can we connect to knime.com to update the username if no cell exists to enter an new username next to a new password.
It’s end of the week, i may be really tired, but i don’t find.
I created a new user to write this to all of you since i didn’t find any link to ask such question on knime.com. I really would rather retrieve my user privileges.
It’s what i do in fact, i enter my mail adress & my password, and then i get a message saying that my username is too long. I have created my account more than 8 years back, that way, and it has always worked fine.
Then i tried to simulate i need a password reset, to get a temporary link, hoping that i can also change my unsername. Well, this is also not possible : no cell to enter a new username.
My impression is that username is part of table key in a few places in Knime server db and policy has changed. Therefore i just hope that a KNIME TEAM member will see this post
