KNIME downloading 504 Gateway Timeout ERROR

Hi, I’m trying to download KNIME but I’m having connection problems.

Update… I tried a few times and it wouldn’t download. I changed my location via VPN and the download started. It would be a good idea to check this, considering other people might experience similar problems.

I uninstalled KNIME and managed to reinstall it, but now I’m getting this error when I try to update. Even if I add the following line to KNIME.ini or try restarting with different VPNs (USA, Germany, etc.), it doesn’t work. I think there’s a connection problem with the KNIME servers today.

-Dorg.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.retrieve.connectTimeout=30000 -Dorg.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.retrieve.readTimeout=60000

I’ve been using Knime on both Windows and Ubuntu since 2018, and each update turns into an adventure…

I downloaded and installed an older version, and now I’m trying to update it, but it’s giving me an error… unfortunately. KNIME 5.8.1 Installer (64bit)

Thanks for the heads up. I’m also getting a 504 error when I try to download. Let me check internally.

Any progress? I also need to complete the reinstallation for the workflows I need to run.

@Olha_Liubko Hi, I’ve encountered the same problem. Don’t worry, the KNIME team is aware of it and the issue will be resolved soon.
