KNIME GitLab connection

Hi guys,

I am looking for a possibility to connect my local KNIME work-space with a GitLab repo. Unfortunately, I did not find any solution for my issue online, so hopefully one of you guys can help me :slight_smile:.

Hi Max,
While it is theoretically possible to put the local KNIME workspace under version control with GIT, there is no integration for that in the KNIME Analytics Platform. For workflow versioning, KNIME Server provides snapshotting and workflow diff view features (see here).

first of all thanks for your input! Since I dont have the KNIME Server the local KNIME workspace solution suits better to me and my current issue. Where can I find any material on connecting my KNIME workspace with GIT?

Hi Max,
There is no documentation, really, because it is just the standard Git procedure. With Git you can put any folder on your hard disk under version control and you can of course do the same with your local workspace. Do you want to use Git from the command line or from a client app?
