KNIME Image reader crashing when testing

Hello gentlemen,

I'm trying to develop a new node using the data provided by the Image reader node from KNIME Imaging. When launching a test KNIME instance as an Eclipse application, and when selecting a file in the configure dialog of an Image reader node, the application freezes and I get the following error in the log:

Exception in thread "Thread-12" ERROR     main Image Reader 0:5     failed to apply settings: PermGen space
Error while logging event loop exception:

Is this plugin stable, am I using the SDK correctly ?

You should add -XX:MaxPermSize=192m to the VM arguments of your run configuration. The same value is used for KNIME Desktop. In fact you should try to use the same VM options for your run configuration as in the knime.ini of KNIME Desktop.
