Knime on Fedora 43 KDE

I recently switched from Windows 11 to Linux, specifically Fedora 43 with the KDE Plasma desktop (non-atomic version). However, I’m having trouble running KNIME (v5.1.0).

When I launch KNIME, a message box prompts me to use: GTK_BACKEND=X11 ./knime

But this command returns the following errors:

Knime: Unable to open display: (a translation of French)
Knime: Unable to open display:
Knime: Unable to open display:
Knime:
An error has occurred. See the log file
/home/laurent/Knime/configuration/1772023882611.log.

I’ve attached the log file (1772023882611.log (1.9 KB)) for reference.

Additionally, if I try running KNIME under Wayland, the display is incomplete, and the menus and buttons don’t work at all. Ibus is installed on my system.

Has anyone encountered this issue or know how to resolve it?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

OK, I need new glasses…
This is GDK_BACKEND=x11… ah la la…
