I’m having the same issues. When I manually point to the Java Virtual Machine as suggested the service starts, but the Web portal isn’t accessible. When I set the “Use default” the service doesn’t start automatically or as a service, but I can manually start the service and then it works.

when setting the JVM manually and starting the service, can you provide the output of the catalina log (<server-installation-path>/apache<…>/logs/catalina.<date>.log).

Sorry for the late reply. It seems that the service can’t access some necessary files. Is the user, that runs the service allowed to run Java itself and has enough rights?

Hi Mortiz,
It all got sorted. It ended up being an issue with the license file. Once that got sorted the Server started to work correctly.
