KNIME5.1 Column Renamer node - how to set new name with variable?

Am I missing something obvious?

In KNIME 5.1 the Column Renamer node has a new configuration dialogue based on the modern UI theme. How can I set the name the target name for the column with a variable!!!

I don’t mind the modern UI being an option, but when it infests the classic UI as well, and removes vital functionality that is an epic fail.

if you are in the modern UI you should see a little wheel icon when hovering over the node where flow variables can be configured.

Thanks @Daniel_Weikert .

I’m in the classic UI and there is no “little wheel” to configure the variables. The configuration dialogue box is modern UI and doesn’t work with the classic UI.

@DiaAzul ah ok
if you right click in the classic ui then there is an option configure flow variables (it is a new option to choose outside of configure)
can you see that?

Thanks. Who would have thought to look there? Would have been nice to see that in the release notes (in big letters and highlighted :-D).
