knimeadmin occupies User-License (or not?)

Hello

we are using ‘KNIME Server Large’ with ‘maximum users’ = 5 and the question is, if knimeadmin occupies one User-License , if knimeadmin is used with ‘KNIME Analytics Platform’ to deploy workflows to the server, or altering user-access-rights?

Hello @b_kochs,

every account that connects to the KNIME Server via the KNIME Analytics Platform will be categorized as a User with the whole functionality of the role.
You are not bound to use the default knimeadmin account for administration purposes, every KNIME Server account can get the additional administration privilege instead.
