Hi All
A new KNIME node has been added to the Lhasa public plugin that does string comparison generating a highlighted diff that can then be viewed in the old and new KNIME UI.

Functionality is based on GitHub - google/diff-match-patch: Diff Match Patch is a high-performance library in multiple languages that manipulates plain text.

When the notification you posted just popped up my first thought was: “maybe we should have checked if this existed in the Vernalis nodes first”

Well my thought when I thought it was that I was glad I hadn’t just started writing it without looking for it

An improvement has been made and released for KNIME 5.3 and 5.4. Diffs on XML content should now render correctly as HTML Cells, the xml entities are now escaped.
