I have two simple self-created components that won’t update when I have made changes to them. They are saved as a absolute link. I get this error, but I can’t figure out why it happens.

Could you please confirm what exactly happens when you try to drag a new instance of the component into your workflow? It should reflect the latest version of the component by default.
Can you check if the component you are using in your workflow has an absoulte link.
