Hi everyone,

We’re running an enterprise AI/data automation program and evaluating/using KNIME as a cross-program capability for workflow orchestration, data preparation, automation, and governed “data/KB ops” processes.

We’re looking for an experienced KNIME freelancer to support implementation and best-practice setup.

Location / logistics (important)

  • Primary work is remote, but we are based in Israel and will require occasional on-site sessions in Israel (e.g., kickoff workshop, design reviews, go-live readiness).

  • Please apply only if you can support site visits in Israel when needed.

Engagement

  • Duration: a few months (initially 2–4 months), with possible extension

  • Start: 3-6 weeks

What we need help with

  1. Workflow design & implementation

  • Designing KNIME workflows for ingestion, validation, transformation, and scheduling

  • Handling structured + semi-structured inputs (files/exports/APIs)

  • Robust error handling, retries, logging, monitoring patterns

  1. Data governance / “Data drops” pipeline

  • Standardized ingestion contracts (package structure, metadata, naming)

  • Automated validation gates (schema checks, required fields, completeness)

  • Versioning / promotion flow (dev → stage → prod) and reproducible runs

  1. Knowledge / KB operations (for GenAI/RAG readiness)

  • Content ingestion from common enterprise formats (PDF/HTML/wiki exports)

  • Normalization steps (chunking/metadata tagging)

  • Incremental updates (delta detection + re-process only changes)

  1. Integrations

  • REST APIs / webhooks where needed

  • Databases / storage (Azure-oriented environments likely)

  • Optional: pushing artifacts to downstream services (indexes, dashboards, apps)

  1. Operationalization

  • KNIME Server experience (deployment, scheduling, permissions)

  • Best practices for separating environments, audits, and evidence packs
