LOST WORKFLOW AFTER UPGRADE

Hi team,

Before I upgraded to 5.5, I uninstalled the old version. However, after that, in the new version, the workflow created on the old one is gone.

How can I find them?

Uninstalling Knime should not delete your workspace. If you used the default workspace it should be located at “C:\Users\knime_workspace”. Trying pointing your new installation there. I’ve found its not good practice to delete a previous version of Knime when installing a version step upgrade. Use the zip version of the new KAP and install it in a new folder. It won’t interfere with your previous version and you can fall back on the old version if necessary.

Noted for next time, just my bad habit, and, btw, do you know can save my workflow that either my PC or laptop can both have it? Usually, I need to export the flow to somewhere else and import it.

@huynhduc you could try and use a service like Dropbox but you would have to make sure to not cause any inconsistencies. Only one knime open at any time. Workflows fully saved and synced.

And be aware of the limitations that some versions of OneDrive have that affect knime.
