which is not visible when deployed on ‘KNIME Server’ 4.17.1:

Thank you for reporting this issue together with client and server versions – something does seem off.
I haven’t reproduced the exact issue, but in my case, formatting is not applied correctly:
Would you by any chance have a dummy workflow that reproduces your issue (no description at all) that you can share?
In any case, we will open a discussion with development and continue investigating.

Not sure what you mean with ‘reproduce’ (no description at all)?
I created a dummy workflow ‘test_metadata’:
In KNIME Server you can see the description at the start page (as also shown in your example):
Opening the workflow only shown the ‘tags’, the metadata/description is gone:

This is defenitly a bug in KNIME AP 5.3.3
I created another ‘dummy’ workflow in KNIME AP 5.2.5:
deployed it to the same KNIME Server 4.17.1

Thanks for the quick follow-up. I was referring to your initial screenshot that seemingly didn’t show any description in the WebPortal.
I also believe that the new rich text is not rendered correctly. We are following up with development.
