Microsoft Authenticator and Microsoft SQL Server Connector

Hello to everyone,
I recently updated to the latest version (5.4) of KNIME and encountered an issue when trying to connect to a Microsoft server.

I used the same configuration as before with the deprecated nodes. I logged in with my Microsoft account and selected the scope “Azure SQL Database.”

However, I am unable to connect to the Microsoft SQL Server Connector due to the following error:
“Incompatible port spec, expected: MicrosoftCredentialPortObjectSpec, actual: CredentialPortObjectSpec”

Has anyone experienced this issue or can provide guidance on how to resolve it?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello @Alberto_Ruggeri,

I believe you need to manually download the latest drivers for this to work.

Hope this helps,

Hello @Alberto_Ruggeri ,
sorry for the very late reply I just came across this post. In general the Microsoft SQL Server Connector node should support the output of the Microsoft Authenticator node. This looks to me like a problem with the update being only partially done e.g. the Microsoft Authenticator node extension is on the latest version but the Microsoft SQL Server Connector node is still using the old version. If the error still persists can you please try to uninstall KNIME and then install a fresh version. Sorry for the inconveniences.
Bye
Tobias
