Curiously, the preview is working fine. Fresh new install. Same error with the File reader node.
Yikes! Can you confirm/share:
- This is not an installation that got upgraded (5.3 → 5.4) but a fresh install, is it?
- Can we get the relevant part in the
knime.log
?

I confirm this is a fresh install from a 5.4.1 zip installer and not an upgrade.

Someone from the team checked both, zip self-extractor and regular zip archive. Both work.
Maybe your installation is corrupted? Can your reproduce with a fresh install? If so, please set log level to debug, clear the log and restart. Please also send the list of installed plug-ins (“About KNIME”).

Well, I found where the problem comes from. If you start Knime from the knime.exe, no problem, I made a mistake and started it from knime-hidpi.exe, then the problem occurs.
Ok, thanks! There is *.bat
file that you can use in case you want to run the hidpi version.
