I am trying to install new KNIME Server and and was going through the installation step and I am stuck at JDK path.

I have install JAVA 11 as describe in the installation steps - sudo apt-get install openjdk-11-jdk

You would need to add the JAVA 11 path to the end of the /usr/lib/jvm/<java 11 directory> or even also add /bin to the end of that too.
Please let us know if this helps with the Select JDK path issue.

As @ztrubow mentioned, you have to get the JDK path. It’s looking for the directory above the /bin, /lib, etc.
$ readlink -f $(which java)

In the above, you can see my java 11 install path is /usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjdk-amd64.

So looking at your post above, it appears that your jdk path would be /usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjdk-amd64 as well.

I think your installation failed because you replaced the base update site (https://update.knime.com/analytics-platform/4.6/) with the nodepit repo, and the trusted repo with a schrodinger repo.
Thus it couldn’t find the bits it needed to download for org.knime.desktop.product to install the executor.
You should leave the update sites, at least the two first ones, in the list for this installation. You can run the manual command-line commands later if you need to install third party extensions.

I was able to get the server setup but I can not run any work. It’s just say loading… See attached screenshot.
I am getting error that says
“Job wasn’t loaded within 3 minutes. This usually happens if the executor is overloaded or if no executor is available at all. Please check back with your server administrator.”
It would be helpful if we can setup a remote session.

Note that this interface is only a temporary solution and will go away in the future.

a) did you follow the documentation to install the systemd service scripts as in [1] and [2] ?
b) if yes, you should be using sudo systemctl start knime-server and sudo systemctl start knime-executor instead of start-executor.sh.
