New to Discourse? Get a quick interactive tutorial from Discobot!

If you’ve never used Discourse forum software before - and even if you have! - there’s a number of features available to you that you may not be aware of. One quick way to get oriented is to have Discobot walk you through an interactive tutorial that takes just a few minutes. You just need to “mention” Discobot (using the @ sign) with a command. Here, let me show you:

@discobot display help

Use this thread to try it out yourself, and see what Discobot can show you! In addition to the responses in thread, keep an eye on your notifications in the top right corner of the screen to see when the bot sends you a message.

I currently know how to do the following things:

@discobot start {name-of-tutorial}

Starts an interactive tutorial just for you, in a personal message. {name-of-tutorial} can be one of: tutorial, advanced tutorial.

@discobot roll 2d6
