Dear Knime Team,
I just want to raise the missing console in the new UI. Is there an option I am missing to understand what is going wrong in a workflow?
There is a nice new interface, but the lack of console makes it impossible for us to use the new version.

Thanks for bringing this up. We have received the feedback before and I have asked internally what the plan is. I will update here when I hear back. In the meantime, you can always switch to the old UI, even for AP 5.1 and newer. Click on the small (i) symbol on the top-right and then scroll down a bit and click the button “Switch to KNIME classic user interface”. It will stay that way until you explicitly switch back to the new UI.

Hi,
I already got something back from our UI/UX guy. He says: the console will be added again. Not the way it is now, but in a new and improved way. He cannot name a time frame for the implementation yet, though.
