Nextcloud Connector

I noticed that KNIME offers several mountpoint connectors for cloud storage systems (Google Drive, SharePoint Online, etc.), but Nextcloud isn’t currently supported.

Given Nextcloud’s widespread adoption, particularly across Europe where many organizations choose it for data sovereignty and privacy compliance reasons, a Nextcloud connector would be extremely valuable. For our organization, this connector would be the deciding factor in migrating to the KNIME Business Hub.

I’m curious if others in the community would also benefit from Nextcloud integration. If there’s broader interest, perhaps this could be considered for the development roadmap.

KNIME has already a JIRA ticket for this feature request: AP-24499.

I’d like to add my support for this request. A Nextcloud Connector would be a valuable addition for to enable secure file sharing and collaboration. In our case, this feature would greatly improve adoption and efficiency, as Nextcloud is a key part of our infrastructure. I strongly endorse prioritizing this connector.

Yes, this would definitely be a quite usefull addition, as I use Nextcloud both at work and for personal use.
