Not able to install Continental Nodes for KNIME extension

Hi Knime community,

I have a trying to install Continental Nodes for KNIME extension. But it’s not going to next steps.

I have KNIME 4.1.4 server installed. Can you please let me know what could be the issue over here ?

I guess you have KNIME Analytics Platform version 4.1.4? And are you saying that clicking Next button doesn’t have any effect? Can you install other extensions?

It was not clicking next because the extension was already installed.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the Continental Nodes for KNIME extension

More specifically I was looking for XLS Format Merger node in my worklfow.

Hello @ShinagdeS,

This is a known issue/problem. Have you tried starting KNIME with -clean parameter?

Hello after installation I only see Utility group but XLS Formatter and nodes – aren’t visible. I look at the forum and found users which have the same or similar problem. For example: This problem is only in one computer and my admin supposed that it’s caused, that this computer didn’t have MS Excel installation. I tried reinstall many times, use “-clean” option in *.ini file and nothing helped. Can I move some library’s (MS Excel) on this comp to pressure it to work? Thank you for help…
