I'm a student assistant at the Parallel and Distributed Systems Group at Heidelberg University and am happy to announce the release of a node that enables you to use Octave with KNIME.
You can find details on the installation, the link to the download and a short tutorial at http://pvs.ifi.uni-heidelberg.de/software/octave-scripts-in-knime/
I hope that you find it helpful. Please contact me if you have any questions or suggestions!
Interesting node! What about putting it into the community contributions? This will make it much easier for users to install it. Just contact me, if you have any questions.
We released a new version today, version 0.9.1. It can be found at http://pvs.ifi.uni-heidelberg.de/software/octave-scripts-in-knime/version-091/
The node now supports Octave 3.4. The library we use to access Octave from java, javaoctave, lacked support for newer versions of Octave. This support was added.
Next I will try to bring the node to the community contributions.
