Hello i am following this guide: Create a New Python based KNIME Extension

Offline installation

Step 5: 1. On the target offline system set the environment variable KNIME_PYTHON_PACKAGE_REPO_URL to the folder with the downloaded packages.

How do i actually do that in step 5? i dont really understand.

I take installing via zipped update site is not an option?

The way I read it:

On windows:

• open terminal (search for CMD or right click in some folder and select open in terminal)
• In terminal type setx variablename pathtofolder

Replace variable name with the exact name as you see in the docs
