Plotly Not Working

Hello,

Ever since the Knime Version 5.3.0 was released, all of the Plotly visualizations stopped working. The workflow runs but the actual visualization does not appear. This is a critical issue for several workflows. The other visualization nodes do not provide the functionality that is required (e.g. plotly tooltips).

Are you using classic UI by any chance?

Views: Configuration Dialog and Interactive views empty in 5.3

Thank you very much for reporting the issue so quickly! It affects all node views and those node dialogs that have a node view preview; but ‘only’ in case the Analytics Platform has been directly started with the Classic UI (it remembers the UI it has been shutdown with). We will publish a fix as soon as possible. Till then you either use the Modern UI (it is not an issue there) or switch to the Modern UI and back again to make it work in the Classic UI, too.

I was using the Classic UI. I was able to access the Plotly visual in the Modern UI. As an additional note, after running the workflow in the Modern UI, when I switched back to the Classic UI, the Plotly visual began working in the Classic UI interface. Do you have an idea of when the Plotly visuals in the Classic UI will be repaired?

I have asked the KNINE team last night about an ETA for the fix in the previously linked topic.
