I seem to be facing the issue documented in https://github.com/jpmml/jpmml-evaluator/issues/137#issuecomment-441387011
Someone gave me a PMML file they had generated in KNIME v3.5.1. Wondering if this is solved already or is still an issue ? Any roadmap-plan to solving it ?

unfortunately, this is still an issue in 3.7.1 but we plan to have this fix with 3.8.
In the meantime you can get the PMML to run by following the instructions (i.e. deleting the offending tags) given in the link you provided.

I’ve got it working for now by modifying the PMML manually.
Looking forward to it being fixed in 3.8

Just to follow up:
This issue is already fixed in the nightly build.
Should you feel adventurous and try out the nightly build, please let me know if you encountered any issues with the new PMML.
