I just would like to report that I was confronted with the same PCA node bug as reported earlier on the old Knime forum https://www.knime.com/forum/knime-general/problem-pca-node-computes-all-projections-regardless-of-settings by @iprotsyuk. I would have liked to attach an example workflow, but unfortunately I have not been able to reproduce it.

Note that the PCA node settings are set to “reduce to 2 dimensions”, but out come all 7 dimensions. I think this happens whenever something changes in the set of columns that are sent into the PCA node.

Thanks for the bug report, and for the workflow that reproduces the problem. I can confirm that I’m seeing the same behavior on my machine. I’ll update the ticket for this issue in our system.
Update: our devs have found the solution for this bug, and the fix will roll out in the summer release of KNIME Analytics Platform.
