Hi, I am trying to make a pedriction analysis in Knime. I have a table with a column for year and a column for difference in pay. I have the years from 1997 to 2022, and want to make a prediction from 2023 to 2050. I want to show it in a line plot.

@SarahAdina welcome to the KNIME forum. About the graphic you could try to adapt this example:
I’m not sure if this is relevant for this, I don’t want to rotate, I just want to make a prediction 27 years in the future based on historical data?
I think that what you are looking for -specially if you don’t have any other data-; it isn’t about prediction, but dealing with uncertainty.
I would try to create a Montecarlo simulation model on a year by year basis; based on current salary differentials statistical distribution

Concerning the prediction you first might have to decide if you have a regression or a time Series problem
@singhsukh12 you will have to decide if this is a problem that indeed can be formulated as a regression task, this will depend on the relationship between your variables and he target.

Otherwise this might be a time series problem if the costs are seasonal.
