Currently the (new web form) Parallel Coordinate Plot node can show highlighted data as orange lines, but doesn’t seem to be able to publish its own selections. Selections made in the Parallel Coordinate Plot just fade out unselected lines and the selections are not propogated to other views, e.g. scatter plot and table view. This makes the plot’s interactivity rather useless.
Assuming I’m right, and this isn’t a feature, could you please add that functionality to the Parallel Coordinate Plot?

Just to clarify — could you let us know which specific views you’re using where the selection isn’t being propagated? Views from the same extension (e.g., KNIME Views or JavaScript Views) should generally share selection state automatically.
In the example I’ve shared, you can see the selection being propagated within views from the same extension. This should help illustrate how selection behavior differs between the KNIME Views extension and the KNIME JavaScript Views extension.

Hi. I should have clarified that this was for the non-“JavaScript” ones.
Could you please confirm if selections made in the Parallel Coordinate Plot (non-JS) are propogating to the Scatter Plot? Or, is it only propogating from the Scatter Plot to the Parallel Coordinate Plot? I know the latter is possible, but I need selection propogation in both directions.
I am currently using the JavaScript ones, which do propogate selections both ways. However, these are pretty ugly and seem to be on their way out - in favour of the non-JS ones.

Note that I am using KNIME 5.3.3, since I needed to maintain compatability with the Schrodinger extension. However, I may now be able to move to 5.4, since Schrodinger seem to support it.

I think I got lucky when recording that video — I’m facing the same issue now. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
I also tested with the latest nightly, and the behavior is the same.
We do have an internal ticket to track this: UIEXT-2023.

I’ve tried your workflow and I can only reliabily make single selections, i.e. by clicking one line in the parallel coordinate plot. When I select by axis range, as you showed in you video, I can see the selection being made and propogating to the scatter plot, but then it immediatly flashes off again.
