Python based Extension not working on mac and windows.

Hello guys!

I am trying to build a python-based extension. To test it on multiple environments, I created an update site as described in this guide.

The extension was tested successfully both on Linux and Mac OS (intel processor). The issue is encountered when trying to install it in Windows and in Mac OS (M1).
