I can recommend you the version feature on NodePit for such kind of questions. Each node page gives you information about the provider, the last update and the compatible KNIME versions. Watch out for the info box on each node page.

We do not remove nodes in newer versions at all. We do deprecate nodes if newer versions are available and you won’t find deprecated nodes in your node repository but your old workflows will still run as expected with deprecated nodes.
