Python View: CEFNodeView Error

Python View nodes have stopped displaying an Output Preview within the configurator and raise this error:

ERROR CEFNodeView Uncaught (in promise) SecurityError: Sandbox access violation: Blocked a frame at "http://org.knime.core.ui.dialog" from accessing a frame at "http://org.knime.core.ui.dialog". The frame being accessed is sandboxed and lacks the "allow-same-origin" flag. (source: http://org.knime.core.ui.dialog/uiext-dialog/3_3/assets/index-6ef07e53.js; line: 879)

The Python Interactive View still works fine from the workspace, it just doesn’t load in the configurator. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Cheers!

Hi @JHVines,

thanks for sharing. We are lookin into this. Which version exactly are you using?

Thanks
Steffen

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for looking into this. Last week I updated to version 5.2.3. Everything was working fine before I updated. I’ve attached an image of all my package version below:

Please let me know if I can provide any more information.

Cheers,

James

Hey James,

We could identify the problem and it is a bug on our end. There is currently no workaround. We will try to fix it as soon as possible and include it in a coming 5.2.4 and 5.3.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Greetings,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your response. It’s really useful to know its a bug and not a problem on my end. Shame there’s no work around, but I look forward to a fix in the next update.

Cheers,

James
